TweetSo Kavya started daycare this week. And we both survived. Well, sort of.
Of course, there were tears involved. But I have to admit, it was mostly me who was doing the crying.
Luckily, it was a short week.
She officially started daycare on September 1, so that meant Wednesday. She went for two days, and Friday and Monday we’re off for Labor Day. This is great because it meant we could ease into it. But it also kind of sucks, because it means next week it’ll be like starting …

TweetIf you’ve been following our day care dilemma, here’s the verdict: It’s a go. My 6-month-old is going to day care. And it’s making me sad.
I know parents send their kids off to day care much younger than 6 months old, but we were hoping it wouldn’t come to this.
I don’t know what fantasy land we were in when thought we were amongst the few dual-career couples who could get away without needing outside child care.
But I’m a work-at-home mom. Work-at-home meaning, in theory, that …
